MECQ Diary Day 4 to 7

So much for the daily blog.  Hirap, dami ganap sa work.  Below are the highlights, in no particular order.

- Bday ni bibi! pero dahil may work, sa Sat na lang ang celebration.  Last minute decors before I call it a day at 3am.  Dyan ko na lang nalagay kasi yan na lang ang free space na abot ko

- Wala na akong maisip.  Kawawa naman ang anak ko. Ako na nga lang ang kausap, di pa nya makausap ng matino pag working hours ko na.  Ang dami na nyang plano when the sickness ends.... I also hope so..

MECQ Diary Day 3

It's a Monday!  Back to the grind.  Non stop naman ang work even during ECQ.

- buting did her laundry by putting her clothes in the washing machine, separating clothes that got stuck together and putting detergent (with Mami's help).  She hanged her clothes to dry (sa kanya yung shorts and sandos at sa akin na yung iba).   Pag natuyo na yan, sya na rin nagtitiklop. Proud mami here.

- sabi ni buting, when the sickness is gone, can we go to the orphanage? Kasi naalala nya na nagpunta ako last Dec c/o office.  At kung pede raw mag uwi ng orphan kasi gusto nya ng little sister! naku ang anak ko...napaisip tuloy ako. hmmm

- gusto ni bibi na panoorin ko raw yung Upload.  ayaw ko naman ng series. nahu hook kasi ako.  for him daw since bday naman nya.

MECQ Diary Day 1 and 2

So natapos na ang ECQ, MECQ na starting May 16.  Di ako naka keep ng diary when ECQ started.  Umpisahan na lang sa MECQ

Day 1
- first online class ni buting with MyNaiNai.  Nakatuwa kasi nag enjoy si buting kahit Filipino yung topic.  Yun kasi ang nirequest kong topic.  1 hour of peace and quiet for me , doing the DIY Diamond Painting (Owl) na inumpisahan namin last Saturday.  Malaking tulong sa mental health - having my me time with no guilt since I know buting is learning while having fun.

- nagluto ako ng Paksiw na Tilapia.  Sarap hehe

Day 2
- General cleaning ang target ko every two weeks for the sala/sleeping quarters namin. Yup, sa sala kami natutulog ni buting when ECQ started since bibi needs to stay in the masters bedroom for the self quarantine set up.  Si bibi kasi ang laging lumalabas ng bahay.  That means vacuum, wet rag for the dust and cleaning the fans.  So happy. Kapagod pero worth it.   Cant afford magka asthma si buting. If kaya ko lang ng every week.  Pero for my sanity's sake, every two weeks.  Ka alternate nyan yung deep cleaning naman ng middle room and bathroom.

- Every week naman ang sched ng washing of bed linens, tsaka kitchen and dining areas.  Everyday dapat ang walis pero pag di kaya, kahit every other day.  Again, tao lang naman, napapagod din. I choose my battles

- While folding clothes, buting and I watched Bofuri. Kakatuwa.

- Fried tilapia for dinner

- She turned off the tv and said that she will tell me a scary story for bed time.  The Dock Pirate. Had it recorded.  Hopefully, audible

- We had a sing along for her bed time songs.  Saya saya.  Tawa sya ng tawa.  Moments like this I would not want to forget.  Hence, the start of this MECQ Diaries.

*Stressful ang ECQ due to work and the addtl adjustment dahil no househelp and semi quarantine set up with bibi. But after 60 days of ECQ, naka adjust naman na kahit konti...

Teaching Request

First post for 2020!

Don't want to forget this day.

Madalas kaming magkwentuhan ni buting bago matulog.  So mga 2x a week lang yun.

Extra special ngayon kasi dahil sa mga kaganapanan na ito:

1.  Madalas may "I am thirsty" line bago matulog.  Paglabas namin, pinunasan ko ng basa ang mesa.  Sabi nya, can i wipe the table with a towel? Katuwa.

2.  Tapos na siyang magpunas habang nagiimis ako ng mga pinaghugasan.  Mommy, can we make your overnight oats breakfast? Gusto niya sya magscoop at magsalin. Kahit may natapon na konti, ok lang.  Katuwa ulit.

3.  Nakahiga na kami nang sinabi niya, Mommy, I have a teaching request.  Can you teach me to wash the dishes?   Muntik na akong maiyak.

4.  Also, can you also teach me how to get water from the water shop?

Sure anak...Labyu!

Pahabol:  Exams week na kasi kaya nag aaral kami ng Filipino.  Yung pang-5 bilang na pangungusap na hahanapin ang pang uri, "Masarap ang pansit ni nanay."   Sabi niya, I have another 1.  No. 6 Masarap ang popcorn ni nanay. Hehe. Pinagluto ko kasi sya ng homemade stove popcorn with salt.  Sarap daw :)

Chinese New Year 2019

Marking this day with a quick trip to the neighborhood mall after a sumptuous lunch with Titas and Tito. Plan was to see a dragon dance, buy new church shoes and grocery.  All done!

Side kwento : after buying the shoes, she really wanted to go to Kidzoona since we said before we will go if she has an award (she did! silver. she said "I thought it was gold. I really wanted gold)".  So proud she understood and no tantrums when I said next time na lang since she needs to eat dinner already, cant play after dinner, and we will go home too late.  She just requested daing na bangus at Max's (she said "I can't stop thinking about it!")
